Relate has always been about one thing: helping professionals build stronger, trust-driven relationships in every meeting. Over the past several months, our team has been hard at work making major upgrades to the platform. From refining how we measure trust signals to improving the way insights are delivered, Relate is becoming smarter, faster, and more user-friendly than ever. 

We’ve rebuilt Relate around a modular, behavior-driven design. Now, each trust factor (credibility, reliability, intimacy, and self-orientation) is evaluated independently, using dedicated prompts designed to capture the nuances of that behavior. By breaking the process into focused analyses, Relate delivers insights that are sharper, more accurate, and easier to act on. 

Once each factor is scored individually, the system brings them together into a holistic view of how trust was built (or eroded) across the meeting. The result: a stronger, more trustworthy analysis that leaders can rely on to understand not just the “what” but the “why” behind their meeting dynamics. 

Why it matters: Professionals don’t just get a trust score, they get clarity on exactly which behaviors are driving it, making improvement more tangible and actionable. 

Another major evolution is in how deeply Relate can measure behavior. We’ve expanded from 28 trust sub-factors to 55 measurable signals, drawn directly from the Trusted Advisor framework. These capture everything from how clearly you summarize decisions, to whether you ask open-ended questions that build intimacy.  

Why it matters: More signals mean more precision. Instead of broad generalizations, Relate pinpoints the small but critical behaviors that build or erode trust in real time. 

We’re entering an exciting new chapter. In late October 2025, Relate will officially launch with a completely redesigned user interface. This new UI brings clarity and simplicity to every insight, making it easier than ever to see how you showed up, track your progress, and coach yourself (and your team) to build more trust. 

In the new Relate app you’ll get: 

• A refreshed dashboard that highlights credibility, reliability, intimacy, and self-orientation at a glance
• Easier navigation between meeting reports, coaching suggestions, and long-term trends 
• A modern design that matches the sophistication of the technology powering Relate 
• + even more we're excited for you to see and use

Looking further ahead, we’re already working on tonal analysis (to capture not just what was said, but how it was said) and auto-categorizing meeting types (so insights and coaching adapt to the context of a one-on-one, a demo, or a team standup). 

The journey of building and improving Relate has been an exciting one, and it’s just the beginning. As Relate prepares for launch, we’re focused on one goal: giving professionals and teams the tools to communicate with more trust, more confidence, and more impact.
